Bi Yanchun went to Iraq to perform a series of business activities and guide related work

Introduction:

December 4 to 7, Baghdad time, Bi Yanchun, Chairman of China Railway International Group, and his delegation went to Iraq for a series of business activities.

On the morning of December 7th, Bi Yanchun met with Chinese Ambassador Cui Wei. Bi Yanchun thanked Cui Wei for his long-term guidance and support to CRIG, and introduced the overall business development, global business layout and participation in the infrastructure construction in Iraq.

Cui Wei welcomed Bi Yanchu come to Iraq for the business activities. He hoped that CRIG would continue to deeply explore the Iraqi market and fully assist China-Iraq pragmatic cooperation to achievenew progress.

On the afternoon of December 4th, Bi Yanchun met with Bengen Abdullah Rekhani, Minister of Housing and Construction of Iraq. Bi Yanchun thanked Bangean for his strong support to CRIG. He said that CRIG will perform high-quality projects in Iraq. Bengen introduced the planning of key projects in Iraq, and he hoped that the Iraqi team of CRIG would keep close communication with the Ministry of Housing and Construction to promote the quality performance of the projects.

On the afternoon of 5th, Bi Yanchun met withHussein, Director General of the Bureau of Highways and Bridges of the Ministry of Housing and Construction. Bi Yanchun thanked Hussein for his long-term support to the Nisoor project and introduced the overall progress of the project. Hussein expressed his hope that the project team would seize the favorable weather conditions, optimize the construction organization, accelerate the construction progress, and promote the project construction with high efficiency and quality.

From December 4 to 5, Bi Yanchun inspected Baghdanisur Three-dimensional Transportation Hub Project on siteand held discussionswithmanagement team ofTranstech Engineering Corp.

On the afternoon of December 5th, Bi Yanchun attended a symposium of China Railway Group’s enterprises in Iraq. He said that Iraq is an important market for enterprises, and contracting the Nisour three-dimensional transportation project is of great significance to enterprises in exploring the Iraqi market.
