  China Railway International Group(“CRIG”)is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Railway Group Limited(“CREC”), which is one of the Fortune Global 500. As a multinational, CRIG is the main player of CREC’s strategy to prioritize and improve overseas business and its market structure of “1+2+N”. With a history of over 120 years, CREC was listed respectively on the SSE and the HKSE in 2007, and has grown into a conglomerate with a diversified business portfolio of survey, design, construction, installation, industrial manufacturing, real estate development and overseas engineering, etc. As one of the largest global contractors, CREC has expanded its business scope to cover all infrastructure areas, with its projects spreading across over 100 countries and regions.   As a global leader in railway construction, CREC is home to a full set of key technologies and leads the world in the fields of high-speed railway, plateau railway, heavy-haul railway, electrified railway, bridge engineering, tunneling, underground works, railway turnout, and TBM manufacturing., contributing to the national brands of China HSR, China Tunnel, China Equipment, and China Electrified Railway. In total, CREC has been awarded 490 National Prizes for Quality Engineering of China (including 37 gold medals), 236 Luban Prizes for Construction and Engineering of China, 167 Zhan Tianyou Prizes for Civil Engineering of China, 154 National Prizes for Excellent Engineering Survey&Design of China, 101 National Prizes for Excellent Engineering Consultation of China, and 34 international awards (including FIDIC Project Awards and International Engineering Design Awards).

  As an overseas flagship of CREC, CRIG has explored the global market and expanded operations across 96 countries and 3 SARs of China. Since 1980s, member enterprises of CRIG have been exerting in global economic cooperation and international engineering contracting. By pooling and leveraging CREC’s overall strengths in design, consultation, and construction, CRIG has given full play to its financial, commercial and project management strengths, and constructed a large number of medium and large projects, covering railways, highways, municipal, housing, power, energy, airports, irrigation, farming, mining, communication, information, international trade, real estate investment, etc. Among these projects, many have won major awards and have been highly acclaimed by peers and employers.

  In recent years, CRIG has transformed from a traditional contractor to a “Contractor + Investor”, and developed 3 core business sectors, i.e. Investment, International trade, and international engineering contracting (including but not limited to models of general contracting, EPC+F, BOT, PPP).
